Its amazing how much better i feel about my debt situation these days :) I have found the £10 per day challenge especially beneficial because each month i have been able to focus on paying off a particular debt.

So far i have managed to pay off 3 of my debts completely and because of this i am now paying a higher amount off the remaining debts.  It feels brilliant to have made this progress even though its just been the smallest debts that i have paid off.

My new payment plan is as follows:

First Trust - £5.49     Balance  £1664.51

Egg Card - £5.00      Balance  £1549.03

Barclays Finance - £9.01    Balance £1733.99

MBNA - £7.55     Balance £3243.29

Barclaycard - £5.00     Balance £1584.00

MBNA 2 - £5.00     Balance £1548.23

Egg 2 - £5.00     Balance £1879.12

MBNA 3 - £8.57     Balance £3691.07

Barclays - £9.38     Balance £2415.62

My overall balance on my DMP is then £19,308.86.

When i started my DMP in October 2010 i owed £20,148.86.  This amount did not include 3 of my debts which were added to my plan later.  It is still a scary amount i have to say, however at least it is going in the right direction :)

My estimated debt free date at the minute is 27th August 2038

Saturday 24 September 2011

I have been plugging away at my debts this week even though i haven't been blogging all week.  I have paid another £20 off my rates bill, brought my TV licence payments up to date and managed to pay a lovely big £640 off my Avon account this week :)

I really want to get on top of my Avon account asap because i want to try and start getting my books out to customers again - Christmas is just around the corner really and now is the time to get working with it again if i can!

Friday 16 September 2011

I am sooooooo happy and pleased with myself today - i have just cleared 3 debts in 1 swoop! Ok so it was the smallest ones but still it does feel good to have less accounts with money owing on them now :)

I am also now at almost £2,000 paid off my debts since 1st August all thanks to this blog, the £10 per month challenge and the taking 10 positive steps a day towards getting my finances sorted out challenge! It really is amazing what i can do when i focus on it :)

Wednesday 14 September 2011

Isn't it funny how quickly the time passes? i can't believe its a whole week since i posted on here!

It's been a bit of a strange week for me i have to say - i think i have missed doing the car boot sales - its been really pants weather and so i've been unable to go.  I also hurt my leg on Friday so in some ways its been a good thing - i needed to rest it anyway!

Without the car boot sales my earnings have been somewhat slow :(  but i have been looking at alternatives and have even been selling more on ebay again.

I really wish it was easier to work out the actual earnings on there - its such a pain having to do all the maths!

So, let me see, i have sold a few things: £2.49 + £7.00 + £1.99 + £7.00 + £10.00 + £6.50 = £34.98

Ebay listing Fees: 15p + 40p = 55p
Ebay final fees: 80p + 40p + 50p + 10p + 55p + 10p = £2.45

Paypal fees are: 28p + 44p + 27p + 44p + 54p + 42p = £2.39

Postage costs so far are: £2.16 + £1.96 + £1.09 + 75p = £5.96

£34.98 - 55p - £2.45 - 2.39 - £5.96 = £23.63

But i have 2 more items to post yet! So i won't know my final figure until i do that today.

Yesterday i also found 6p on the ground in the car park LOL!

Nice letter in the post today

Sometimes it feels like the only thing that comes through the post is bills, especially cos of my debts.  Today though i got a letter saying £305.56 has been taken off my rates bill :) I also have the option to appeal the decision to not backdate the payments which i think i will do as well.  In the meantime i can reduce the balance at least!

I also got a few more payments through (avon delivery, survey payment, ptc arrangement) making a total of £541.93 so far raised this month :)

I am astounded that i have more than met my target of £465 for this month in the space of 5 days - can i beat last months total now i wonder?? lol

10 things a day challenge - Monday 5th Sept

Ok, so its been 3 days since i did an update on my 10 things a day challenge.......lol. It seems i really can't fit 10 things in over the weekends cos thats car boot time - i am going to try and do 10 things today though if i can, but it is 8pm now so we will see what i can fit in :)

I have managed to do the following things today:

1.  Completed the daily earners on swagbucks - i now have 1518 points and enough to cash in for $10 but i'm saving for the $50 reward this time.  Or i might go for the amazon vouchers, not sure yet.

2.  Played a few games on Woohoo - i'm now up to 107 gold stars so still quite a bit to go on there to get to cash out.

3.  I delivered an avon order, got the payment and a new order from that customer.

4.  I got some more jewellery to sell at the car boot sales

5.  I completed 2 small surveys on onepoll - i am now up to £7.10 soooo lots more to go on this site to cash out.

6. I completed some daily earners on onepoll cashback and am now up to £17.26 on this site - edging closer on here but still a bit to get to the £25 payment.

7.  I have sorted out some more items to put onto ebay tomorrow

8.  I have clicked on all my paid emails

9.  I have viewed the paid videos on maximiles and now have 495 points on this site.

10.  I have written letters to my credit card companies asking for the charges to be refunded.

So, there we go - 10 things done today! :)

10 things a day challenge - Friday 2nd Sept

Think i will give this challenge another wee go and see how i get on this time.

Today so far i have managed to do the following:

1.  played some bingo on woohoo and won some more stars :)

2.  swagbucks earners: daily poll, search x 1, invite and earn, NOSO, checked survey page, tried to do a survey but didn't qualify for it, and my favourite played zip zap for a wee while :)

3.  listed 9 things on ebay - actually relisted them but it still counts lol

4.  got a new referral on swagbucks - up to 12 now :)

5. did daily earners on one poll cashback

6. delivered an avon order

7. went for a walk and looked for abandoned pennies while i was out, but didn't find any :( never mind at least i tried something else hehehehe

8. talked to a friend about a new earning option - not sure if its for me right now, but its in the possibly in the future box

9.  made a payment off my rates bill - just £5 but its another wee acheivement :)

10. clicked on cash paying emails - donkeymails, maximail, unique rewards & buxjunction

Hurrah - thats 10 things done for today!!!! Now all i have to do is try and keep it up all week LOL

September Challenge

After the wonderful success of the august £10 per day challenge i am now aiming for £15 per day for September!!!!

I was going to do £10 per day again but i have had such a good start to the month i thought i'd increase it!

Ok so yesterday, 1st Sept i got a lovely £10 voucher through the post from maximiles and thanks to MSE website i discovered i had £37 of tesco vouchers that i hadn't used. I also just managed to get £30 worth of them exchanged into £60 vouchers for groceries hehehehehehehe!!!!!!

I also did actually do some work yesterday to earn a few quidsola and squeezed in 2 carboot sales giving me another £45.50!

By my calculations that makes a wonderful £115.50 in the pot for the September challenge on the first day!!!!

Just to keep the ball rolling and the dosheroo rolling in i got the shop and scan equipment through the post today.  Oh and a lovely shiny wee 2p from junkmail - it was one of them send us ur gold sites saying we can send you lots of money for your gold - here is 2p to get you started - 2p into money box, letter into junk box LOL!

All is good in dragon slaying world today ;)

Wednesday 31 August 2011

End of the August Challenge

I can't believe it is the end of August already! It seems like no time since i was wondering how on earth i was going to make an extra £310 over the month and here i am not quite believing that i more than doubled that figure!!!

But what is the final figure? i haven't added the last earnings on to my total yet:

Ebay - I made some silly mistakes with the postage costs of the items i sold underestimating the cost by £2.81 :( I managed to make a mistake with all of them because i didn't weigh the items - Lesson learned with that! At least i did still make a few pounds - balance increased by £4.34!

I did manage to do the 2 car boot sales on Saturday adding another £72.15 to my total, and despite the storm brewing on Sunday i did another one then too adding a further £105.50 :)

So........i feel like i need a drum roll.......the final amount for August is a huge and magnificent £839.22  - never in my wildest dreams did i think that was possible.

This challenge has completely changed my thoughts about dealing with my debts - it was this huge insurmountable mountain before i started this, looming over me - yes it was like a fire breathing dragon that burned me every time i went close to it.  Now i feel like i have at least got a sword and shield to fight it with!!

Strangely i am looking forward to working on the debt dragon again next month ;)

Friday 26 August 2011

Happy Friday :)

Well now, after ducking out of the second car boot yesterday cos of the rain and being a bit disappointed about that I got some good news in the post this morning - I have been awarded HB for my rates bill!!! :) they are not backdating it but at least this will reduce my rates bill as it includes this years rates costs or something odd like that.  Anyway although they said i wouldn't get the back payment i am going to appeal the decision and see if i can change their minds :)

I will have to wait for a new rates bill to come in to update my balance on this debt, but i am pretty happy knowing its going to be reduced without me having to pay it all!

In addition i used a voucher and cashback offer on quidco for money off a tescos shop which meant i got a £50 shop for £25 today!

I did a wee whip round the house looking for change too and came up with an extra 89p for the money pot :)

aaannnnnndddd i sold some bits on ebay too today! I am just too tired to work out the profits from these right now though so will update my balance tomorrow!!

2 car boots planned for tomorrow so i'm away for a relax now in preparation hehehehe!

Thursday 25 August 2011

Final push for the last week in Aug!

Ok so for my final push for dosheroo this month i am actually doing not 1 but 2 car boots today - just finished one and even though it rained quite a bit i came home with £38! The next one starts about 3 so hopefully the rain will be away by then! LOL

I also have a few listings on ebay finishing tomorrow and with any luck another 2 car boot sales over the weekend - whew!!!!!! bootied out this month hahahahahaha! been sooooooo worth it though  and my garage has actually got a floor again

I will add a wee update later on if i actually get to the car boot - go away rain you are spoiling my earning plans!!!!! lol

Tuesday 23 August 2011

Over £1000 paid this month!

I have just been to the bank and paid another £50 off my mortgage arrears and another £370 off my Avon account. This brings my total paid off debts so far this month to £1186.39 :) i'm rather pleased with myself to have got over the £1000 mark with payments i must say.

I now have just £78.84 to pay off my mortgage arrears to get back up to date with it..... and i hope to get that paid next week! yipeeeeee!

Monday 22 August 2011

Sunday Sunday, so good to me!

I am just updating the blog today as i was sooo tired yesterday after my car boot sale.  I decided to take an extra table with me as sometimes i'm not sure what to put out - this week then i had a table for 50p stuff, one for avon perfumes and one for other bits of jewellery and keyrings etc.  I also took my £1 box with avon stuff in it - shampoos, shower gels and hand creams.

I think the extra table option worked out well as i ended up selling £150.30 worth of goods - I think that is the highest amount i have taken since going to the Christmas markets :)

It was hard work covering all of the tables myself but it looks like it really was worth it from a financial perspective! I will be trying it out again next week if the weather holds up ok :)

So, what a productive weekend i have had - i have got a huge £230 extra money to pay off my debts in the space of 2 days! Wow! It almost seems like a dream all this.  I have done car boots before on a regular basis but i have never actually counted up the income over a period of time or used it in this way.

As yesterday was 21st August that means that i have raised £619.23 in a 3 week period.  I have another 10 days of August in which to keep on earning as much as i can for my £10 per day challenge - i have of course more than met this challenge already, but i am remaining motivated to continue at full steam simply by the thought of being able to pay off more of my debts - i do want to pay as much as possible off my Avon bill so i can then start selling to my regular customers again.  :)

Saturday 20 August 2011

The Sun has got his hat on......

I'm in cheery form today, can you tell??? lol! The Sun is out and i am just home from a car boot sale with an extra £80.11!!! Its great when the sun comes out and everyone feels like treating themselves ;)

The day started a bit slow and i thought i wasn't even going to get my table costs covered tbh.....obviously that changed somewhere along the way!

So now my earning total for August is sitting at £468.93 - a massive £158.93 over my original target :) and its even over the full amount of my mortgage arrears - i am both delighted and seriously shocked at the same time LOL.

The forecast for tomorrow looks a bit more unsettled with some showers but i think i will try to do another car boot tomorrow if possible.  I would love to be able to get my earnings over the £500 mark now that i am so close to it - i'm on such a roll i'm scared to stop hehehe!

Right then off to check out my ebay listings and see what else i can put on - it is free listing day today so i'd like to get some stuff on while i can save on the pennies :)

Friday 19 August 2011

Busy but happy!

I have just returned from town where i went into the bank and paid another £200 off my mortgage arrears!!!! I really did not think it was possible to even pay £50 a month off this debt before i started my £10 per day challenge :) So far this month though i have paid £278 off it and am now down to owing £123.84.....  I am not sure there are words to express how happy i am right now, but it looks something like this......

I feel like a mouse in a cheese factory alright hehehehehe! Especially as i have also now paid another £200 off my Avon bill today as well.  Obviously i haven't earned all of this and the Avon money is mostly money i have collected for orders but it all comes off the bill anyway :).

Ok, so i completed the review with cccs as well today and it hasn't changed at all, but at least they send out an up to date report to my creditors. Hopefully this will freeze the interest on my barclaycard account again as they decided to add about £30 to it this month :(

I also posted my ebay parcels in town while i was there and that cost me £7.49! Total costs then are £10.11 leaving me with a whoopy doopy £12.05 profits from these sales :)

While checking my paypal account i found a payment of 11p from a PTC arrangement i have made with my upline on one of my sites.......and, I nabbed a wee 9p to add to the moneypot from OHP (other half's pennies).

Extra earnings for today then are £12.25 making my August total £388.82 so far :)

Plan for today

I have a few things i want to do today re my finances:

I need to contact cccs to complete a review of my budget as i have got a letter through from them - nothing much has changed to be honest but they like to keep everything up to date.  I have also checked all my account balances via the experian website/statements etc and so i now have updated all this info on here too.  It does scare me to see so many bills and i still don't want to add them all up :(.  I am going to continue to focus just on one bill at a time though as i have been doing - i like to feel like i am getting somewhere and this is the best way for me i think.

I also want to make some more payments today as i have gathered some money up over the past few weeks. I want to pay some off my mortgage arrears again and I have collected some Avon money so i can pay some of this today as well.

I did sell some of the things i had listed on ebay too - £11.04 + £3.49 + £7.63 = £22.16 before costs which i was pleased about :) Ebay fees for these items are £1.26, paypal fees are £1.36 and postage costs i need to find out yet - i need to post these things today too.

I do want to do a car boot sale tomorrow and list some more things on ebay if i can, so a bit of sorting out to do too.  A busy day for me today then LOL!

Right then better get on with it :) will update later.

Wednesday 17 August 2011

Consumer Credit Counselling Service Payment

Ok 2 posts in one day now LOL!

I forgot to say that i have paid £60 to CCCS - I have an arrangement in place with them where i pay them £60 per month and then they make the payments to my creditors.  It is so much easier than trying to keep up with all the individual payments :) Going through CCCS also means that the interest charges are all frozen so even though i am only making small payments off each of my debts at least they are all going in the right direction!

As i get a monthly statement from them i can reduce each of my debts accordingly when i get that through :)

Today i have also added the money that i owe to Avon - i have got a bit behind with this account now too so i'm hoping adding it on here will help me get on top of it again reasonably quickly! It has to be a priority to pay off as i do get a income from it.....

Right then i'm away to check up on my ebay listings LOL

Busy Busy Busy......

My goodness, i can't believe it is almost a week since i have been on here - just shows how busy i have been!

As always i have been doing lots of different things to raise some extra income but this week i have been doing a bit more than usual:

Let me see now, i have listed some things on ebay - not many i must admit because i find it quite time consuming doing this and the fees put me off a lot.  It is an option that i haven't used much recently because of that, this week though i thought i'd give it another go.  I was intending to list a few things on different days but just managed the one LOL. I do have some bids on things so at least it will give me a few extra pounds!

I have done a car boot sale over the weekend as well - my usual Sunday one and raised £111.10 despite the rain showers that kept us all busy covering and uncovering our goods!

I also completed 2 mystery shopping assignments this week - i was assessing a fast food chain in 2 different locations for this - i must say it surprised me how many different things that i have to assess! It was fun though :) and i got fed too ;).  I won't get my payments until next month, and i can only do 2 a month at the minute, but i am happy to have another earning option available to me now.

Oh i got my first payment from a PTC site this week as well - It was only for $0.10 but this was the cashout limit so i thought i would claim it anyway just to check payments are being made :)

I have reached cashout level on a few ptc sites this week and am looking forward to getting that through over the next few weeks (some of them take days and others take a few weeks to get payment through from).

As well as clicking on my ptc sites i have been completing surveys too....i am almost at cashout level for a few of these sites too so am trying to focus on these ones first :).

Right so its time to do the maths now....I now have raised an extra £376.57 to pay off my debts this month :D i am sooooooooo happy - just half way through the month and i have blasted through my target of £310!!!

I love this challenge hehehehe!

Friday 12 August 2011

Online Payments Received

I am happy to say that i have received 3 payments from some of my online earning opportunities today :)

I got 2 payments from Dollar Surveys totalling $2 and 1 payment from Swagbucks for $10 - so thats another £7.20 that i can add to my earnings for this month!

I can't believe i have managed to raise £265.42 so far and there is still another 19 days of the month left to earn some more :) it really will be interesting to see just how much extra i can earn in the month!!  I am really hopeful now that i will be able to pay off my mortgage arrears this month - something that i never thought i would be able to do so quickly!

I am planning to do a car boot sale tomorrow as the forecast is pretty good, though Sunday is not looking so good unfortunately! I have also managed to list 5 things on ebay to raise a bit more too if i actually get them sold ;)

Right bedtime for me, early morning ahead of me tomorrow!

Thursday 11 August 2011

First payment made!

Well now i guess the title of this post says it all really - i made my first payment off my mortgage arrears since starting my £10 per day challenge!

I paid £78 off it yesterday :) - this may seem like a strange amount considering my additional earnings so far, but basically its the £50 i have been trying to pay off it as well as the £28 i had gathered up in coins out of my money box!

It feels good to have made a payment, especially one that is higher than the amount i had been trying to pay off it each month :)  It also feels great to know i am also planning to make more payments off it before the end of the month too ;)

I know this one debt is just a drop in the ocean really but you know what? it just feels like i am taking control of it finally.  I think i have done the right thing as well to just pick one debt to focus on at first (i should say i am still making minimal payments off the other debts i have too, i'm not just ignoring them cos that would be pointless and not productive at all.)

I can't wait to get this one debt paid off :) though for now i am happy to see it going in the right direction!

New balance for now then is £323.84, but watch out balance....i'm in slaying form :)

Sunday 7 August 2011

Yet another Car boot Sale!

I am just home from my Sunday car boot sale, my legs are tired but my money bag is nicely plump :) and i am now £93.40 richer than i was this morning as a result - how fab is that???? LOL

After having a great day at the car boot sale i also called in to see my Dad who gave me a cheque for £100 as an unexpected pressie - Thanks Dad ;)

Oh and not to forget the 13p roadkill i found today as well hehehehe.

Well now thats what a call a really good day and i can't believe i have got a huge chunk of my mortgage arrears covered already :)

As i did so well today i am going to aim for the whole amount of my arrears instead of the £310 target i had set myself, so my progress is now £258.22/£401.84 - i am soooooooo pleased with myself for getting so far with it - i love this £10 per day challenge ;)

Saturday 6 August 2011

£10 per day challenge update

Well i wasn't sure i would make it to the car boot sale today - the forecast wasn't too good! It was dry when i got up so i decided to risk it :) It was kinda quiet to be honest but i managed to get rid of some more bits and bobs and made a profit of £23.85!

I have also just counted up all the wee odds of money i have about the place - money box, paypal account etc and including the car boot money i now have a total of £64.69 to pay off my mortgage arrears! It amazes me how all the wee odds of cash can add up!
At least i now have a total figure for all of it too.

Ok so thats my progress so far: £64.69/£310 - as its the 6th August today that means i am actually over my target of making £10 per day - it feels pretty good i must say!

Right then another car boot planned for tomorrow - the Sunday one is usually my big day so will be interesting to see how it goes this week - please stay away tomorrow rain LOL!

Friday 5 August 2011

Am i paying more than i need to?

If you have been following my blog so far you will know that i am currently trying to raise some money to pay off my rates arrears. Interestingly i have found out that i may be entitled to claim for help with my rates due to the fact i am in receipt of income related ESA.

I always thought that anyone who owned their own house with a mortgage rather than renting it was not entitled to any help. Now i have found out that i can apply to the Land and Property Services Department for help with my rates - perhaps i am trying to pay a debt that i don't actually owe. That would certainly be a turn up for the books :)

I have completed the form today to apply for this help, hopefully i won't have to wait too long for a response.

Now that i am applying for my rates bill to be paid i am considering using any money i earn this month on my £10 per day challenge to pay off my mortgage arrears......if i do this for August i should hopefully know next month if i will get anything paid off my rates arrears from my application! Yes i think thats what i will do :)

My mortgage arrears are currently £401.84 so if i can manage it i may try to pay it all off this month :) It will depend on how my car boot sales go really - its unfortunate that i am so dependant on the weather for this income but i am looking into several other income sources as well!

Progress on my £10 per day challenge has been slow so far, but i am hopeful that the pace will increase throughout the month. The only addition i have to my total from yesterday was the 6p that i found......hahahaha - it is in the pot though making my grand total now £27.73/£310. Unless i get an unexpected payment today it won't be going up again until the weekend! I am hoping to do 2 car boot sales and to have a bit more luck with the weather - fingers crossed!

Wednesday 3 August 2011

Car Boot Sale Funds

Well as planned yesterday i managed to do a car boot sale today and for a change the weather was actually brilliant.  I was a bit late getting there and didn't have a very good spot but i still managed to sell a few bits and bobs, raising a grand total of £23.60!

Ok so its certainly not the best sale i have ever done, but at the end someone next to me gave me some stuff they didn't want to take home again......usually the point is to get rid of stuff but i figured its some more that i can sell hopefully! LOL

If the weather is good again tomorrow i will do another one then to add a few more pounds to the pot! :)

I also completed some of my PTC site clicks today but not got to cash out levels yet.....shouldn't be too long before i can claim something but not adding it until i do!

One other thing i did today was collect money for Avon orders from a girl who gets orders and i put them through my account.  I give her 20% commission on these and i get 5% so i earned £3.12 on this today.

Progress on the £10 per day challenge is now at £27.73/£310 so almost averaging the £10 per day LOL!

Good luck to everyone else on the challenge :)

Tuesday 2 August 2011

£10 per day challenge

Well as i said yesterday i have taken on this challenge that is posted on money saving expert - the challenge is to earn an extra £10 per day throughout August.  I have been working on ways to earn some extra money both yesterday and today: i have been completing some surveys online and click click clicking on several PTC sites.

I have decided to not count any earnings until the money has actually been paid to me - its important to me that i actually have the cash in my hand or account so i can pay something off my rates bill at the end of the month.  So although i have 'earned' some money online i haven't been paid for any of this yet.

I have found myself focusing more on how i can get some extra money in the past few days because of the challenge and i think thats a good thing :) I don't like not having anything to put in the pot though so i thought i would have a look around the house and the car for bits of loose change - I found a grand total of £1.01 hahahaha.

I know its not technically earnings, but it is money that  i didn't really know i had and i am adding it to the rates payment fund so i am counting it in the challenge.

In addition to my online activities i have arranged to do a car boot sale tomorrow so hopefully that will add to the fund - i will have to be strict with myself not to spend my earnings on the other stalls though :)

Right so progress so far: £1.01/£310 -its a start anyway!

I am slowly adding the different debt amounts to my blog record too more or less as i get post in to confirm the amounts - i am not sure what i did with the rates bill though so thats still an estimate at the minute.

Have you managed to do anything towards paying off any of your debts today? if so i'd love to hear what you did.

Until tomorrow then, take care and good luck with your personal earnings!

Monday 1 August 2011

Where do i start?

Right then......its the first day of august and the start of my slaying plans :) Although i am motivated and really want to get started i find myself struggling to know where to actually start - it all seems so huge and over-whelming just to think about it......

I know it probably makes sense to get the calculator out and start figuring out how much my total debts are but i'm scared to do that - i dont want to feel like its an impossible task and put myself off completely!

So, instead of procrastinating any more i think i will just pick a debt to work on.....  It will get me started and help me get over the fear if i see some success i think, and anyway who says i have to do it a certain way?

The debt i am going to start with is my rates bill - i got a letter from them last week saying i owed over £600 for rates arrears along with a date to go to court. It completely freaked me out i must say, but i managed to phone them and make a payment arrangement of £20 per month.  They are also sending me a housing benefit form as i may be entitled to help with my future rates due to being off work - i didn't even know this was an option so i am glad that i phoned them.

As a way to help me work on this debt i have joined a group on Money Saving Expert called debt free wannabee - you can see my resources page for more details on this.  Through this group i have agreed to take on an earnings challenge of £10 per day for August - if i can manage to do this i will effectively half my rates bill in the space of one month and quite frankly i would be delighted :)

The challenge will be tough but i think it will be worth it to get a jump start on this! What i will do each day i have no idea yet but i am going to try my best.

Hello and welcome to my new blog....

Good Morning to anyone out there reading The Debt Dragon Blog! I have been blogging for a little while now and am enjoying it so much i thought i'd start a new one......

This blog is going to be about getting out of debt - slaying that debt dragon was on my mind when i thought of the title - i hope u like it :).

I am trying to slay my own debt dragon at the minute so i will be posting my own progress as well as any resources i find helpful.  I know i am not on my own in this, there seem to be so many people struggling with debts at the minute it almost feels like an epidemic! Its not a nice situation to be in but it does help to have some support and even just to know that you are not on your own, so if you are in this situation yourself i hope this blog will help you even in some small way.....

I love this picture of the Dragon Slaying Angel! I am going to make this a personal power image to remind me that i can slay my Debt Dragon :) I have the feeling i may need to remind myself of that quite frequently!

Have you got a way to help you remind yourself that you can do it? I'd love to hear about it if you'd like to share......
